Pindarie Black Hinge Shiraz

Expert Reviews

James Halliday (2008 Vintage) says
Dense purple; a trenchantly full-bodied shiraz that presumably relies on the idea that if more is good, most is best, with dense licorice all sorts, poached prune and plum flavours.
Australian Wine Companion 2012 2011
Nick Stock (2006 Vintage) says
The reserve wine from Pindarie shows an added resolve here, one of the hallmarks of the structured and sturdy 2006 vintage. You'll find pomegranate, blackberries and plums sitting across the top of strong spices and earthy nuances. The palate has a wave of vanilla with a lingering, powerful core of dark fruits and berries. The balance is unquestionable and the wine has a long, neatly crafted finish.
The Penguin Good Australian Wine Guide 2010 2009
James Halliday (2006 Vintage) says
Deep purple-crimson; powerful, full-bodied wine with the full complement of black fruit flavours on the luscious and intense palate, ripe tannins and oak framing the fruit nicely.
