Expert Reviews

WINESTATE (2007 Vintage) says
Dense, structured style with full colour, substantial body (14.5% alc.) and impressive concentration of ripe cherry, plum and spice flavours, complex and savoury. Still fresh and vibrant, with good cellaring potential.
Winestate 2009
Michael Cooper (2001 Vintage) says
Scented and supple, the debut 2000 vintage was grown at Pisa Flats, north of Cromwell, in Central Otago. It's a medium to full-bodied style with good depth of cherryish, plummy, slightly leafy flavour and gentle tannins. Matured in French oak barriques (one-third new), the 2001 is a more generous, warm and supple red with sweet-fruit charm, rich plum, cherry and spicy flavours and well-integrated oak. Drink now or cellar.
