Expert Reviews

Ray Jordan (2011 Vintage) says
Excellent example of the unoaked chardonnay style. Has stacks of fruit with a melon and citrus mix. The palate is loaded with lovely fruit that targets a long crisp finish. Ideal current summer drinking.

A very good dry unoaked example of the genre with chablis-styled acidity with very interesting pear fruit and fresh flavours to finish.

One of the most sophisticated chardies yet under this label. Mostly Mt Barker fruit with a small amount of Pemberton. It's had extended time on yeast lees, which has added to the overall texture. Rich and well balanced on the palate. The squeeze of lime juice on the finish lifts it perfectly. Precise and appealing.

Light to medium yellow-green; a quite fragrant and aromatic bouquet, rather like a Chardonnay Sauvignon Blanc cross. The palate does have life and length; to be consumed immediately while it still has that crisp freshness.
