Plunkett Fowles Stone Dwellers Gewurztraminer

Cracka Review

This Gewürztraminer (pronounced ‘guh-voorts-truh-mee-ner’) is golden straw in colour. It entices with lychees, musk and rose petal aromas, leading to a rich, but light and silky palate. This wine off-dry, viscous and rich, with warming alcohol, soft tannins and fresh acid. It is has great length. It also has layers of complexity making it fruit forward and sophisticated.

James Halliday (2008 Vintage) says
Has clear-cut rose petal and spice varietal aromas that come through on the palate; good example of this difficult variety.
