James Halliday (2010 Vintage) says
Mid crimson; a bright, fresh and floral-accented bouquet with redcurrant, blackberry and sage on display; a splash of toasty oak is revealed on the medium-bodied palate, with tangy acidity and graphite tannins to conclude; needs food, but in the right way.

Aromatic blue fruit profile, layered with spice; attractive and full of ripe juicy fruit; bright acid is prominent on the finish, drawing the light- to medium-bodied palate out to an even and harmonious conclusion.

Ray Jordan (2008 Vintage) says
You get a whole box of yummy chocolates from the first sniff. Touches of stone fruit orange rind and plenty of spice. The blend works really well. Based on warm ripe and fleshy shiraz with a little additional viognier spicing it up a little. Firm tannins and well weight oak. Rich and concentrated but with a softness in the middle palate.

James Halliday (2007 Vintage) says
Bright crimson; notes of spice and herb on the bouquet merge into the red fruits of the medium-bodied palate, and fine tannins.

Just a thoroughly enjoyable wine, is this shiraz from the Great Southern. Plush opulent dark cherry and rich plummy fruit cake characters. There's a spicy savoury depth to it with stacks of mouthfilling flavour. Most impressive wine.

James Halliday (2006 Vintage) says
Light but bright hue; perfumed, and light- to medium-bodied, with spicy/ peppery overtones to the red fruits; minimal tannins.

Firm, clean blackberry with a touch of raspberry fruit; fine-grained tannins add to the long finish.
