Provenance Wines Tarrington Pinot Gris

Expert Reviews

James Halliday (2011 Vintage) says
From the very cool Western Victorian town of Tarrington, but reached flavour ripeness in this challenging vintage; moreover, the almost fleshy pear and ginger fruit has very good line, length and balance.

James Halliday (2010 Vintage) says
Full straw; ginger is often attributed to pinot gris by winemakers, but not easy to see: here it is obvious, as are some unexpected honeysuckle flavours, and a textural richness to the palate likewise.  From a seriously cool climate, and is most impressive, as is its cellaring potential.
