WINESTATE (2006 Vintage) says
Dusty oak aromas over pineapples. Similar palate, which is complex, with delightful secondary characters.

WINESTATE (2005 Vintage) says
Quite a meaty nose, with a whisper of lemon zest. Good spicy, toasty oak on the palate, with tight lemon fruit and a big acid backbone. Very flavoursome.

James Halliday (2001 Vintage) says
Light to medium yellow-green; the bouquet has melon, fig and stone fruit with nicely judged and integrated oak; the palate provides more of the same, and is as good as they come from the Clare Valley; well handled in the winery and with authentic varietal fruit. Principally barrel fermented, with a portion stainless steel fermented for fruit freshness.
