The non-vintage wine on sale in 2011 is based entirely on Pinot Noir, grown at Bendigo, in Central Otago. An inviting pale pink, it is very fresh and lively, with strong strawberry and spice flavours, gently yeasty and smooth. Dryish, it's an instantly appealing wine, with excellent harmony and length.

Elegant rose? Big bada boom! The crash landing of impacting Central Otago pinot with bubbles! Wild strawberries, cherry blossom and berry jam. Just when it looks like it's gone too far it coasts into a refreshingly dry finish, laced with minerality.

This light salmon-pink rose has a composed, flinty nose that reflects a thorough approach, ahead of bright and ripe red-berry fruits: strawberry and wild raspberry here, some light pastry notes too. The palate's built on impressive, sizzling acidity and carries fresh, ripe wild-strawberry flavours in neat, composed shape. Good balance here.
