Cracka Review

If you like your wines in the 'old school' vein, then this rustic and intriguing wine will be right up your ally. It's got a few years on it, but to be honest it needed the time to chillax and settle down. It's a very medium-bodied style of wine that shows lots of smoky and earthy aromas, together with preserved plum, dried herbs and a touch of spice. The palate is soft and savoury with plenty of toasty, earthbound flavours, fine tannins, and a dry, long, almost meaty finish. It's a fascinating drink for those looking for something different.

Winemaker's Notes

Our Grande Reserva expresses the best of the Douro in a perfect blend of Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz and Touriga Franca. In these wines we find the elegance, structure, strength, freshness and the character that make the Douro a unique place and such a wonderful wine region!

Dark in colour, with very complex aromatical profile, where the ripe red fruits empires such as red plum, blackberry, and dark cherry, some mineral and elegant toasty.

Very powerful good acidity with dense but round tannins. Long and complex after taste.
