Expert Reviews

James Halliday (2004 Vintage) says
Clean, crisp and minerally; good mouthfeel largely driven by lively acidity; hints of herb and gooseberry along the way.

James Halliday (2002 Vintage) says
Fowler began his career in the Hunter Valley with Tyrrell's, thence to Coonawarra and now in Mount Benson. The delicate bouquet has a mix of tropical and gooseberry fruit, plus a subliminal touch of oak. The palate has much more intensity, the texture significantly enhanced by fermentation in French oak. Utterly seductive.

James Halliday (1999 Vintage) says
Light to medium yellow-green; the bouquet is quite fragrant, with gentle tropical fruit; the palate is nicely balanced, with a mix of herb, lime and tropical flavours; the strongest part of the wine is its persistence on a lingering finish.
