Nick Stock (2007 Vintage) says
The phoenix-like John Edwards has delivered a beaut '07 savvy. Bright tropical fruits, fine sweet ripe fragrance, plenty of clear passionfruit aromas and some strident lift. The palate is supple, soft and even, lovely balance, smooth texture and a fine flavoursome finish that lingers ever so sweetly.

Matthew Jukes & Tyson Stelzer (2005 Vintage) says
The grapes for this tremendous wine come from one of the most idyllic properties in the Adelaide Hills – The Lane. Superstar winemaker Rob Mann converted them into wine with minimal intervention and the result is a direct reflection of the microclimate of this single vineyard site – it is sublime! The bone dry, citrus fruit is exceptionally crisp and refreshing and the finish lasts for minutes. This is the definitive, refreshing white wine, as it goes with every al fresco dish and challenging starter imaginable. It also happens to be a proven crowd-pleaser – echoing the flavour of Loire staples Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé – but for a good deal less, and a great deal better!
