Real Agrado Blanco Viura Rioja
Viura (also known as macabeo) is a native grape of Spain. It is used in sparkling wines as well as table wines, and this offering is pretty typical of what it can produce. It's a lighter-bodied, quite aromatic thing, that shows aromas of tropical fruits, florals and almonds on the nose, along with hints of apples and smoky funk. The palate is bright and brisk, with sweet peachy flavours, a decent line of citrusy acidity, and a long, dry finish. These wines are great with seafood.
Golden yellow colour. Aromas of apple, peach-skin, aniseed and smoky touches; sweet smelling. A smooth, enveloping entry on the palate. Fruity sensations of apple, guava and pineapple all wrapped up in a sweet, enveloping sensation that lingers on the palate at the finish.
