Campbell Mattinson & Gary Walsh (2007 Vintage) says
The Red Knot brand burst out of the blocks a few years ago with some ripper reds and, while the quality seems to have eased back a notch, these reds are still worth looking out for. It smells excellent. Indeed, it's a good red wine. It tastes of blackcurrant and violets and, oh, it smells much as it tastes. It has a strut of tannin and a slight dip of flavour in the middle of it all, but by the time you swallow you're well satisfied with what it has to offer. Nice price too!
