Been a bit of a fan of this wine from Redgate since I first saw it some years ago. It's had its ups and downs since then but now is achieving greater consistency. Highly perfumed and aromatic with appealing red fruits. The palate soft with a certain precise silkiness. as a succulence that really appeals. excellent in the medium term.

One of the few decent examples of this variety done as a straight varietal. Comes off a special part of the vineyard. This is an elegant and very stylish poised red wine with fine tannins and a silky smooth palate that will continue to evolve with short term cellaring.

Leafy floral notes of cabernet franc are distinctive at the first sniff. This has been a winner for Redgate over the years. This is a little tighter and showing more restraint than usual but appears to have the palate structure to support further cellaring. This is cabernet franc with an engine room. Medium weight and stylish.

This has been a signature wine for Redgate for years. There have been some beautiful cab francs from Redgate and this is another beauty though with slightly more structure and palate power. This is a serious wine that will delight.

I have been an unashamed fan of this Redgate specialty from the first time I tasted it some years ago. It is quite distinctive. Perfumed and lifted aromas of red berry and understated violets with some smoky spicy oak. The palate has a silky fine texture and lingering sweet fruit qualities. This is something different worth seeking when you are at the cellar
