Barking Mad is named after the Reilly wine dogs who happen to be dachshunds - lovingly referred to as 'sausage dogs'. This year, we see a label change and also a multi-regional blend of savvy from the Clare Valley and Adelaide hills. The result is a bright, tropical, dry style of wine that shows lots of gooseberries, lemon citrus and mango on the nose, whilst the palate is lighter-bodied and zippy, with lip-smacking acidity and a nice, zesty finish, with a sprinkle of dried herbs on the back of the tongue. Enjoy chilled in good company.

Winemaker's Notes

Our 2013 Sauvignon Blanc has been produced from our St Clare and Leasingham vineyards and blended with wine from the Adelaide Hills vineyard. This wine is fresh, crisp and herbaceous. With flavours of gooseberries and ripe tropical fruits, this wine is enjoyed slightly chilled.
