Revington Vineyard Gisborne Gewurztraminer

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2004 Vintage) says
The Revington Vineyard in Gisborne's Ormond Valley yields a rare wine that has ranked among the country's finest Gewurztraminers. The 2004 vintage, low-cropped (below 5 tonnes/hectare) and harvested at over 26 brix, is already delicious. Light yellow, with a rich, ripe, well-spiced bouquet, it's a weighty, medium style (18 grams/litre of residual sugar) with lychees, ginger and spice flavours showing lovely ripeness, depth and roundness, a slightly oily texture and rich finish.
