Richard Hamilton Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blanc

Winemaker's Notes

Appearance: Light straw yellow with excellent green.

Nose: Fresh bright fruit nose showing passionfruit, peach blossom and a hint of cut grass.

Palate: A vibrant dry style showing lingering passionfruit flavours balanced with a crisp, zesty acidity.

Food: Perfect as an aperetif and complements fine, elegantly flavored dishes of salmon and oysters.

Cellaring: This wine is best enjoyed as a young fresh style demonstrating primary fruit characters.

Alcohol: 11.5%

Winemaking: Following harvest in the cool of the morning, the grapes were cold pressed and free run an d pressing kept separate. An aromatic yeast was used to ferment the components to sugar dryness. Some of the highly flavoured pressings were blended with the free run to enhance the length and weight of the palate
