Rippon Jeunesse Pinot Noir

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2009 Vintage) says
Made from vines in their youth ('jeunesse'), defined as 'under 12 years old', at Lake Wanaka, in Central Otago, the 2009 vintage was fermented with indigenous yeasts, matured in seasoned French oak barrels, and bottled unfined and unfiltered. Bright ruby, it is a virile young red, medium-bodied, with strawberry, plum and spice flavours, light and lively, and considerable complexity. Drink now or cellar.
