Jeremy Oliver (2010 Vintage) says
A complex, dry and savoury riesling whose faintly smoky, waxy and lemony bouquet reveals scents of lime and apple. It's fine and gentle, with a fluffy, faintly chalky texture and a long, restrained presence of lime and lemon flavour that finishes with a fresh, lively acidity and a hint of toasty development.

Jeremy Oliver (2009 Vintage) says
A dry, chalky and austere riesling whose waxy, toasty and very floral bouquet of lemon rind and lime juice reveals some chalky, waxy complexity, it's long and tangy, with a round, generous and faintly toasty presence of citrusy fruit and a fine, slatey texture, finishing with clean acids and pleasing length.

Jeremy Oliver (2007 Vintage) says
A slightly old-fashioned style of riesling whose developing toasty, honeyed and buttery bouquet of waxy lime juice and lemon rind precedes a taut, lean and focused palate of length and focus, its fresh, if rather toasty and citrusy palate is supported by a fine undercarriage of chalky phenolics, finishing with a tangy acidity and a pleasing length of crunchy flavour.

Bright colour; has developed very well to this point; ripe citrus/lime fruit on a serene, flowing palate; now or over the next five years

Showing plenty of development for its age, this toasty and rather waxy riesling has a floral aroma of lime juice and lemon rind. Round and generous — almost broad, ever, - its slightly candied palate of citrus and green apple flavour finishes slightly spicy and sour-edged. Despite the presence of some steely acids, it just lacks a little focus and tightness.

James Halliday (2005 Vintage) says
Quality lime/lemon aromas; tightly structured and powerful, with good acidity giving thrust; has brushed aside the challenge of the cork.

James Halliday (2004 Vintage) says
A lovely wine, sliding through towards secondary flavours and aromas, but without closing down; classic regional lime, the low alcohol adding freshness. I suppose you can't complain about cork if they all taste and look like this.

Jeremy Oliver (2004 Vintage) says
A honeyed, beeswaxy and lightly toasty fragrance of lime juice, lemon rind, dried lavender and faint herbal nuances precedes an unusually juicy and rather broad palate for Eden Valley riesling. It's long and reserved, right in the middle of riesling's adolescent period, and its fresh apple, pear and limey flavours should develop more complexity and character with time in the bottle.

Light straw-green; tight, fine lime and apple blossom aromas, moving into slate and mineral on the palate; long, fine finish; still very youthful.

Jeremy Oliver (2003 Vintage) says
A fragrant, confectionary and rather citrusy riesling whose minerally aromas of lime and lemon precede a soft juicy and forward palate that finishes with soft acids, but slightly thin and dilute.

James Halliday (2002 Vintage) says
Still bright, pale yellow-green; powerful, generous style; depth and flavour rather than finesse.
Australian Wine Companion 2006 2005
Jeremy Oliver (2002 Vintage) says
An elegant, flavoursome and slightly old-fashioned riesling now revealing toasty and honeyed development its delicate aromas of fresh apple, pear and lime juice reveal musky floral undertones and suggestions of wet stones Surprisingly rich and smooth, its very long and creamy expression of lime, lemon and apple-like fruit overlies a powdery phenolic spine before finishing with austerity and tartness.
Australian Wine Annual 2006 2005
James Halliday (2001 Vintage) says
Powerful, potent, touch of old-fashioned kerosene; excellent structure and balance; crammed with mineral and spice; long aftertaste.
Australian Wine Companion 2006 2005
Jeremy Oliver (2001 Vintage) says
A round and generous riesling whose delicate lime juice and green apple perfume, reveals undertones of fresh flowers, minerals, dried herbs and lanolin. Soft and approachable, its luscious, juicy palate is underpinned by chalky phenolics, before a refreshing and slightly austere finish of apple and lemon-like acidity.
