Romney Park Wines Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir

Expert Reviews

James Halliday (2010 Vintage) says
Estate-grown clones 777, 114, 115 and MV6 yielding 3.7 tonnes per hectare; 80% whole berries, 20% whole brunches; 10-day cold soak, then wild yeast fermentation; matured in used barriques. All this paid big dividends, with excellent colour, a complex, focused and balanced palate; long and stylish.
Australian Wine Companion 2014 Edition 2013
James Halliday (2009 Vintage) says
Vivid hue: an amply laden black cherry bouquet and palate, with abundant sweet fruit and a firm and savoury, brambly backbone providing light and shade; juicy acidity sees a fresh and focused finish.
Australian Wine Companion 2012 2011
James Halliday (2008 Vintage) says
Very good hue; a delicious wine that has more purity of pinot expression than the majority of Adelaide Hills pinots, with sweet red cherry fruit and enough tannins to ensure authority.
