Rosebank Est. Cabernet Shiraz

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (1994 Vintage) says
An odd but workable marriage, the 1994 vintage of this Canterbury-based label is a 70/30 blend of Marlborough Cabernet Sauvignon and Barossa Valley Shiraz. It's a robust (13. 5 per cent alcohol), soft red with dark colour, restrained oak influence and loads of spicy, herbal, blackcurrant-like, well-rounded flavour. The Shiraz makes a powerful impact, creating a markedly bolder wine than most local reds.
