Rosemount Estate Nursery Project Langhorne Creek Fiano

Expert Reviews

James Halliday (2012 Vintage) says
One of the most interesting new/alternative varieties, fermented but then left of gross lees for four months. It has a bracing and crisp texture with savoury pear and apple skin flavours, and well above average length. Full of interest and promise. 13% alc.

Tyson Stelzer (2011 Vintage) says
Rosemount is not a brand from which I expected such trail-blazing endeavours, nor results as compelling as this. The cool 2011 season is on full display here in green pepper, greengage plum and lime zest freshness, while five months on full solids has built textural fullness. With grapefruit pulp, crunchy pear and lime juice, it’s zippy, lively and ready for sushi.
James Halliday (2011 Vintage) says
Pale green-quartz; this is an emerging variety, albeit with other producers in Australia; there is an immediate burst of creamy fruit - derived from five months on full lees - underpinning the primary ripe pear fruit.
