Expert Reviews

WINESTATE (2010 Vintage) says
Generous sweet raspberry nose and quite a savoury/spicy palate; a tad hot and with good tannin concentration.
WINESTATE Volume 34 (2011) 2011
Max Allen & Peter Forrestal (2003 Vintage) says
Consistently one of the best under-$15 pinots in the country and one of the most refined of the Rosemount range, this is a good, dark, sweet-fruited red wine with silky soft tannins. Disarmingly easy to drink.
Quaff 2005 2004
James Halliday (2000 Vintage) says
Medium to full red-purple; the bouquet offers plenty of fruit but not much varietal character; the palate is a replay, with sweet fruit, nice balance and flavour; a light to medium-bodied dry red.
Australian Wine Companion 2003 2002
James Halliday (1998 Vintage) says
Medium red; the bouquet immediately tells you there is something extra, with plum, cedar and spice aromas which follow through into a palate with surprising complexity and structure
