James Halliday (2006 Vintage) says
Good hue; a light- to medium-bodied wine with fresh blackberry and cherry fruits; does not require cellaring; minimal tannin and oak inputs

WINESTATE (2006 Vintage) says
Herbal/medicinal bouquet with a sprinkling of pepper. Gentle, peppery palate withsome good fruit and ´fluffy tannins!

James Halliday (2005 Vintage) says
A pleasant array of red currant, cassis and cherry fruit on the medium-bodied palate; silky, savoury tannins and spice; good length. Cabernet Sauvignon/Cabernet Franc/Shiraz.
Australian Wine Companion 2009 2008
Ray Jordan (2005 Vintage) says
Winner of four trophies and three golds at last count. Not hard to understand why. Wonderful perfumed notes of cedar and mint with light red berry. Has opened up with the extra year in bottle. It's all so controlled, balanced and tightly woven, yet there are deep and penetrating flavours that are sustained and long. It's still quite closed and I'd recommended decanting to let it open up even more.

WINESTATE (2005 Vintage) says
Fresh and minty on the nose, with a gentle dusting of oak and excellent quality of berry fruit aromas. Fleshy, flavoursome palate tastes of mulberries and other dark fruits.
Winestate 20082009
James Halliday (2002 Vintage) says
Maturing attractively; spicy/earthy overtones to the still substantial foundations of red and black fruits; good tannins and oak.
