Sacred Hill Halo Hawke's Bay Merlot Cabernet

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2009 Vintage) says
The dense, rich 2009 vintage is a great buy. Estate-grown and hand-picked in the Gimblett Gravels, and matured for a year in French oak casks, it is a blend of Merlot (90 pet cent), Cabernet Sauvignon (7 pet cent) and Cabernet Franc (3 per cent). Still purple-flushed, it's a floral, tight-knit, finely structured wine with a strong surge of fresh, ripe plum, spice and nut flavours and a lovely silky texture.
