Michael Cooper (2012 Vintage) says
This fleshy, rich wine was grown at two Dillions Point sites, in the lower Wairau Valley, and fermented and lees-aged in all-new French oak casks. Full-bodied, it has fresh, concentrated, stonefruit flavours, strongly seasoned with toasty oak. Still oak-dominated, it should be at it's best mid 2014 onwards.

Winestate Magazine, Mar/Apr 2012
Michael Cooper (2010 Vintage) says
Grown in the 'slightly cooler' Dillons Point district, east of Blenheim, the 2009 vintage is a powerful, fleshy wine with strong, ripe peach and grapefruit flavours, considerable complexity and a strong oak influence (French and American, all new). The 2010 was fermented and lees-aged for 10 months in new French oak casks. Youthful, it has concentrated stone-fruit and toast flavours, with a strong oak influence, lively acidity, and good vigour and drive. Open mid-2012+.
