Saint Clair Pioneer Block 9 Riesling

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2006 Vintage) says
Made in a spatlese (late-harvest) style, the 2006 vintage is a single-vineyard Marlborough wine. Grown in the Brancott Valley, it was stop-fermented with low alcohol (10 per cent) and abundant sweetness (45 grams/litre of residual sugar). Attractively scented, it's a faintly honeyed wine with intense, citrusy, appley, slightly spicy flavours, fresh and crisp, and strong drink-young appeal.
