Saint Clair Vicar's Choice Marlborough Pinot Noir

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2009 Vintage) says
Designed as Saint Clair's 'entry-level' Pinot Noir, the 2009 vintage was partly barrel-aged. It's a light, green-edged wine, lacking real richness.

Michael Cooper (2002 Vintage) says
A fruit-driven style, the 2002 vintage was handled mostly in tanks, but 25 per cent spent eight months in new and used French oak casks. Fresh and vibrant, with ripe-fruit aromas, it has berryish, plummy fruit characters to the fore, with gentle tannins and good drink-young charm.
