James Halliday (2011 Vintage) says
Hand-picked and whole bunch-pressed to a mix of new and used French oak for fermentation using different yeasts. The full straw-green colour is a little more developed than I would expect, but the palate is brilliantly fresh and lively, with pink grapefruit and white peach the main flavour contributors; cashew nuances from the oak are among the complexing factors, factors that will continue to influence the wine as it develops in bottle.

Full, rich, oak-driven style with an abundance of everything! Gorgeous nose and super-clean palate with good acidity.

Now securely among the great names of Margaret River chardonnay. Minerally funky aroma with traces of creamy cashew and grapefruit all held so tight. The palate is deeply intense and complex with layer upon layer of president powerful favours. Dry and slightly savoury on the finish with a very long finish. Outstanding chardonnay.

Restrained, slightly funky, peachy aromas and beautiful palate full of ripe fruit and excellent oak with savory notes.

Glowing green-yellow; outstanding chardonnay with great intensity and length; nectarine, white peach and grapefruit flavours are the principal drivers, quality French oak in a support role.

Ranks with the top echelon of Margaret River Chardonnays. The colour is brilliant and lime hued. The nose is a mix of stone fruit grapefruit and some creaminess in the background. The palate packs layers of complex flavours melded perfectly with quality fine oak and lifted with a very acidity. Balance is impeccable. Brilliant debut and worth the wait.
