Sandhurst Ridge Bendigo Cabernet Sauvignon

Expert Reviews

James Halliday (2008 Vintage) says
As with all the Sandhurst Ridge red wines, open-fermented and basket-pressed; here estate-grown cabernet has been picked at exactly the right time, the bouquet distinctly fragrant, the medium-bodied palate well balanced; cassis-accented fruit does much of the talking; French oak and tannins are in the second row.

James Halliday (2005 Vintage) says
Similar to the Fringe Cabernet; perhaps just that little bit sweeter, but still has some slight green olive flavours on the finish. Will appeal to some.

James Halliday (2004 Vintage) says
A medium- to full-bodied mix of blackcurrant and a dash of blackberry; ripe tannins in balance, as is the French oak.
