Rob Geddes MW (2010 Vintage) says
Fruit here is just ripe, crunchy red cherry and less sandal wood, vanilla caramel oak making an appealing fresh balanced red. Generous juicy ripe fruited middle palate with red cherry to black berry fruit and relatively, for this producer, low oak. Soft tannins finish the wine, versatile food friendly.
