Sartori Friuli Grave Pinot Grigio

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

Start choosing the antipasto dishes as this classic Italian, often just described as Friuli, is the perfect solution to a hot summer’s day. It’s got the palest sheen imaginable, with a varietal nose of pear and citrus as well as just cut apple. What sets this wine apart from its new world counterparts is the compelling texture on the palate. It’s got a nicely balanced mineral appeal that fuses well with a clean acid finish.

Winemaker's Notes

Sartori create modern wines with excellent purity of fruit and acidity. Small batches of hand harvested grapes are given a slow fermentation in temperature controlled stainless steel before maturation on lees to build texture and complexity.
