Scorpiiion Barossa Valley Shiraz

Expert Reviews

James Halliday (2010 Vintage) says
The inky purple colour is a sure sign of the full-bodied wine that follows, with layer upon layer of black fruits; however, it is not the least attractive nor alcoholic; the tannins are ripe but soft, the French oak barely evident.
Australian Wine Companion 2013 2012
James Halliday (2008 Vintage) says
Dense purple-crimson; a rich, opulent and complex shiraz with waves of black fruits and exemplary tannin management; fruit complexity from three subregions; given the benefit of a question of alcohol warmth that won't be noticed with food.
Australian Wine Companion 2011 2010
James Halliday (2006 Vintage) says
Bright crimson; a most appealing medium-bodied wine with a freshness and life to its red and black fruit flavours not common in the Barossa Valley; a balanced finish to the long palate; all the marks of great winemaking.
Australian Wine Companion 2010 2009
James Halliday (2004 Vintage) says
Bright purple-red; luscious blackberry, plum and a touch of prune tempered by good acidity; fine tannins and exceptional length.
