Scotchmans Hill Henry Frost Clare Valley Riesling

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

This is an early drinking, dry style of rizza that would be great with a Thai chicken salad. Aromas of green citrus and Granny Smith apples adorn the nose, whilst the palate is crisp, dry and minerally, with more citrus flavours, a talcy mouthfeel, and a zippy, zesty finish.

Winemaker's Notes

A wonderful example of Clare Valley Riesling displaying lifted floral, citrus and spice aromas. The palate is zesty with floral flavours, a citrus and mineral mid palate and a long spice finish. Enjoy over the next 1 to 2 years.

Cidery apple, lime and steely aromas lead into a finely textured palate with green apple and citrus flavours and good length. Relatively high acidity and a powdery phenolic touch add savour to the finish.

From multiple sub-regions of the Clare Valley. Apple and lime, sweet fruit and fine acidity, light chalky texture, but bold and flavoursome and built in a crowd pleasing drink now style.
