Scotchmans Hill Pebble Bay Marlborough Pinot Gris

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

This is a reasonable dry, rich style of pinot gris, that has seen a kiss of oak. Aromas of pears, ginger spice and honey decorate the nose, before the palate chimes in with honeyed pear flavours, friendly lemony acidity, and a smooth, slightly savoury finish. It's made to drink early, so enjoy with some Chinese spring rolls.

Winemaker's Notes

Mid straw with a green tinge. Pear and quince with a touch of honey and spice with lifted floral overtones. A rich and spicy palate of quince and pear fruit with a honey mid palate. Long and flavoursome which should be enjoyed over the next 2 years.
