James Halliday (2009 Vintage) says
A high quality wine, with an inherent balance that sets it apart; highly attractive fig, melon, peach and grapefruit flavours are gently caressed by French oak, the finish long and balanced.

James Halliday (2008 Vintage) says
Mid-gold; fully developed and richly scented with butterscotch, almond meal, cashew and grapefruit on offer; the palate is toasty and thickly textured, saved by fresh acidity and a sea salt character that lingers on the finish.

Rob Geddes MW (2008 Vintage) says
Very tightly crafted concentrated grapefruit-edged pears and then oatmeal flavours with a lot of power from the vineyard. Finishes richly layered.

Jeremy Oliver (2008 Vintage) says
Evolved, brassy and oily, with a creamy, buttery bouquet of light melon and citrus fruit backed by meaty, spicy notes of clove and cinnamon, with waxy, woolly undertones. It's generous and round, with a rich, creamy presence of fruit wrapped in a metalli, rahter green-edged acidity, finishing with notes of sweetcorn.

Jeremy Oliver (2007 Vintage) says
Complex and mature, with a pungent, rather brassy bouquet of butterscotch, lanolin, beeswax and honeysuckle beneath citrus, melon-like aromas and a whiff of mineral. Like melted butter, it's round and viscous, with a moderate length of toasty fruit, assertive malolactic influences, smoked meats and a soft, rather meaty, cheesy finish.

James Halliday (2005 Vintage) says
Deep goldenyellow; there is more of everything here; super-ripe peach bouquet, lots of very toasty oak and grilled nuts and spice result; the palate is densely packed full offruit, and the finish cleans up with reasonable acidity, and a bit of grip; the price stretches things a little.

James Halliday (2004 Vintage) says
An extra degree of concentration to the nectarine, peach and melon fruit; evident but restrained use of French oak and lees contact, though no mlf. One wonders whether the price is simply inspired by the old adage 'if you don't ask, you don't get'.

James Halliday (2002 Vintage) says
Bright yellow-green; intense, tightly focused grapefruit and melon; long and lingering; the finish lasts forever.

James Halliday (2001 Vintage) says
Oak and barrel ferment influences very evident; melon and cashew flavours; well balanced.
