Seifried Nelson Cabernet Merlot

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (1998 Vintage) says
The 1998 is clearly superior to its straight Cabernet Sauvignon stablemate of the same vintage. It's a robust wine (14 per cent alcohol), mouthfilling, ripe and smooth, with plenty of spicy, plummy flavour, moderate tannins and some complexity. Drink now onwards.

Michael Cooper (1997 Vintage) says
The 1997 vintage offers much greater flavour depth than the light, green-edged 1996. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (60 per cent) and Merlot (40 per cent), it's a fresh, smooth wine with good colour, fullness of body and plenty of delicate, slightly minty, blackcurrant/plum flavour. It's an easy-drinking style with a touch of class, for drinking now onwards.
