James Halliday says
The tawny hues are rimmed with olive-green, immediately proclaiming the age of the wine. The bouquet is fine, fragrant and penetrating, much closer to the Tawny Ports of Portugal than most Australian wines. The palate offers flavours of spice, butterscotch and more nutty characters, but it is the length of flavour and finish which is absolutely remarkable. Given its age, arguably the most undervalued wine on the Australian market today.
