Jeremy Oliver (2005 Vintage) says
Floral, minty aromas of cassis, raspberries and restrained cedar/vanilla oak with undertones of menthol precede a lingering, fine-grained palate whose brightly lit berry flavours are backed by dusty nuances of dried herbs and dark olives. Tightly backed by firm, crunchy tannins, it's generous, firm and finely balanced, with a lingering savoury finish.

James Halliday (2004 Vintage) says
Medium red-purple; blackcurrant fruit almost immediately off-set by earth/olive/forest notes. A consistent style over the years.

Jeremy Oliver (2004 Vintage) says
An honest, varietal quaffer whose minty, meaty aromas of black berries, plums and vanilla oak precede a smooth, generous and juicy palate of moderate length. Framed by simple but robust tannin, it's quite long and evenly ripened, with fresh, vibrant flavours of berries, cherries and dark plums, finishing with lingering earthy and meaty undertones.

James Halliday (2003 Vintage) says

Jeremy Oliver (2003 Vintage) says
A minty Victorian cabernet blend whose attractive aromas of mulberries, cassis and dark plums are backed by sweet cedar/chocolate oak and dusty, herbal undertones of eucalypt and forest floor. Moderately long, It's vibrant, ripe and smooth, showing good palate sweetness and balance, finishing with a hint of menthol.
