Expert Reviews

James Halliday (2011 Vintage) says
The flavours and balance of this medium-bodied wine are harmonious. It was presumably these characters that led to its trophy at the Barossa Valley Wine Show Õ12 for Best Shiraz-Dominant Blend from Õ11. Maturation in used French oak puncheons has allowed the bright, spicy, red berry fruits free opportunity to express themselves, and the tannins have not been pushed by additives.

WINESTATE (2010 Vintage) says
Gamey, licorice bouquet and savory flavours with firm tight tannins. Built to age.

Nick Stock (2010 Vintage) says
A trophy at the Barossa Wine show. This has a ripe, dark-fruited nose with black cherry, plum and chocolate, a really deep and soulful red blend that delivers terrific approachability. The palate is worked in a smooth and supple shape with curvaceous tannins and lovely, supple fruit flesh, with a bright and delicious finish.
