Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2009 Vintage) says
From three company-owned sites, the 2009 vintage was hand-harvested, fermented with indigenous yeasts, matured for nine months in French oak barriques (35 per cent new), followed by another six months in barrels, and then bottled unfined and unfiltered. Ruby-hued (and not entirely clear), with a savoury bouquet, it's an unusually complex style, sweet-fruited, with rich plum, cherry, spice and nut flavours. A wine of strong personality, it's already approachable; drink now or cellar.
