Seresin Raupo Marlborough Pinot Gris

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2008 Vintage) says
Just 394 bottles were produced of the outstanding 2008 vintage . Hand-picked in the Raupo Creek Vineyard, it was fermented with indigenous yeasts and matured for 15 months in seasoned French oak barrels. Powerful and complex, it has deep pear, lychee and spice flavours, layered with toasty and creamy notes, in an unusually weighty and complex style. Slightly sweet (18 grams/litre of residual sugar), with a rich, lasting finish, it's a wine of real personality.
