Family winery, Signature Wines, has come up with this rather tasty shiraz out of the Barossa for a handy price. It's a fuller-bodied number (14.5% alcohol), but it's not too musclebound, and shows aromas and flavours of spicy dark berries and licks of toasty cedar. The palate is friendly and fruit-sweet, with approachable tannins, bright acidity, and a juicy finish. That bangers and mash you were thinking of cooking up tonight would be great with this!
