WINESTATE (2007 Vintage) says
Bouquet of cherries and oak. Fleshy palate with good flow of cherry and plum flavours and good tannins.

Michael Cooper (2002 Vintage) says
Made for early consumption, the charming 2002 vintage was based on first-crop vines at the company's elevated, relatively cool Plateau Vineyard, between Maraekakaho and Mangatahi, in Hawke's Bay. French oak-aged for nine months, it is light in colour, with ripe cherry and plum flavours, some earthy, spicy touches and soft tannins. Drink 2004. (Cellar door sales only.)
