WINESTATE (2011 Vintage) says
Winestate Magazine, Mar/Apr 2012
WINESTATE (2010 Vintage) says
Easy-drinking style with a distinct late harvest feel. Light-bodied, with gentle sweetness and smooth, ripe pear, spice and pineapple flavours, which show good harmony.
WINESTATE Volume 34 (2011) 2011
Michael Cooper (2009 Vintage) says
The 2009 is a top vintage. A gently sweet style (96 grams/litre of residual sugar) from Hawke's Bay, it is full-bodied, with concentrated, ripe citrus-fruit, pear and spice flavours. Handled entirely in tanks, it shows good richness and cellaring potential.

Michael Cooper (2003 Vintage) says
Forward in its appeal but well worth cellaring, the 2002 was grown in Hawke's Bay and stop-fermented with plenty of residual sugar (150 grams/litre). It's a smooth, sweet wine, weighty and rounded, with ripe, pear-like flavours enriched by a touch of honeyed botrytis. The 2003 vintage has a faintly honeyed bouquet. Fresh and vibrant, citrusy and limey, with hints of apricot and honey, moderate acidity and a rounded finish, it should age well.
