James Halliday (2010 Vintage) says
Spends 11 months in French barriques, and is the result of a selection of the best of those barrels. While the colour is relatively light the hue is good, and overall impression is freshness; the one question is whether the oak is a little too obvious, but it's difficult to gainsay the gently warm flavours it adds to the small red berry fruits of the palate.

James Halliday (2008 Vintage) says
Bright colour; an attractive array of red fruits and exotic spices are evident on the bouquet; the palate is fine, quite pure, and exhibits lovely focus and lively character; long, supple and even, there is a backbone of structure that belies the fleshy and generous fruit.

James Halliday (2007 Vintage) says
Bright colour; cherry anda touch of plum with an attractive spice backbone to the fruit; quite velvety on entry, with good fruit definition, and a brightness to the finish that is even, fine and long

James Halliday (2006 Vintage) says
A closed bouquet, but the palate offers some richness and texture; good flavour, but doesn't accelerate on the finish.
