Sinapius Riesling

Cracka Review

Sourced from two separate vineyards located on the eastern banks of the Tamar River, this wine was whole bunch pressed, then fermented under cool conditions until the fruit / sugar / acid balance achieved 30 grams of residual sugar.

Nose: Lime blossom musk with passionfruit aromatics.

Palate: A palate with plenty of texture and weight. Citrus, tropical and stone fruit flavours with some sweetness are kept in beautiful balance by crisp acid on a long finish. A nod to the Mosel!

Cellaring: To 2020.

Alcohol: 9.0%

Sinapius Riesling

Nick Stock (2011 Vintage) says
A very delicate riesling, fragrant and restrained, showing plenty of cool fruit aromas, apples and nashi fruit, fresh green pear and hints of spice. The palate s crisp and fresh, lovely restraint here too, with some musky hints, brisk acid, good balance and a dry, clean, bracing finish.
