Expert Reviews

James Halliday (2012 Vintage) says
It is easy to pass by without paying enough attention to this wine, with its very good balance between fruit, acidity and minerality; the lemongrass flavours will assume a honeyed sheen with bottle age.

Nick Stock (2012 Vintage) says
Quite a steely nose, with plenty of green apple and a little lifted edge, hints of dried pineapple too. The palate has gentle sweetness and delivers an approachable, easy style.

James Halliday (2010 Vintage) says
Light straw-green; an intense and highly aromatic bouquet leads into a palate that ticks all the boxes: balance, line and length, coating the mouth with delicious lime juice flavours, acidity cleansing the finish. Eden Valley at its best. 200 dozen made.

James Halliday (2009 Vintage) says
Vibrant, lively and juicy lime flavour drives through the long and intensely focused palate, mineral and citrus coming together on the bracing but balanced acidity of the finish.

James Halliday (2008 Vintage) says
A delicate, crisp mineral-accented wine, with great purity and length. As yet reticent, but will bloom given time in bottle.

James Halliday (2006 Vintage) says
Tighter, more elegant and more minerally than the Barossa Riesling, reflecting the different terroir; delicate and refreshing, as is the price.

James Halliday (2005 Vintage) says
Pale, bright straw-green; touches of herb and nettle on the bouquet; balanced palate of lime juice and mineral.
