Solijans Winery Ebony Cabernet Pinotage

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper says
For a pleasant quaffer, priced right, this non-vintage red launched in 1997 is worth trying. It's a 3:1 blend of West Auckland Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinotage, matured for nine months in seasoned French oak casks. Medium-bodied, it's reasonably ripe and warm, with berryish, spicy, earthy flavours and moderate tannins. Nothing flash, but satisfying.
