Spencer Hill Coastal Ridge Nelson Pinot Noir

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2003 Vintage) says
Grown a few kilometres north of Nelson city, on a ridge overlooking Tasman Bay, the 2003 vintage was fermented with indigenous yeasts and matured in contact with French oak in small tanks (rather than barrel-aged). Ruby-hued, with leafy aromas, it's a medium-bodied wine with smooth cherry, raspberry and herb flavours and gentle tannins in a moderately complex, forward style. Overpriced.
